Its official, Lover and I have tied the knot.
I couldn’t be more in love and happy. I’m giddy like a teenager, and more than 4 years in he still makes my heart jump when he smiles at me.
All my life I have wondered what it felt like to be loved by someone who truly knew me, and to love that person in return. No longer sighing with jealousy at Claire from Outlander, I have my Lover and I know that kind of fierce love. (Lover is far better looking than Jamie too!)
I am so grateful that I get to experience this life. It’s not perfect, there are bumps, and those serve to make the good parts shine even brighter.
No list today, I have it all, beautiful children, a husband who loves me and a peaceful sobriety.
